Search Engine Submission

What is Search Engine Submission?
Search engine submission service is a paid service to submit your website to so called "hundreds and thousands" of search engines out there.

Purpose of the Service?
To get your website listed in thousands of search engines as promised by the service provider. The idea of doing so is to gain as much web presence as possible which in return will generate higher sales leads. (This is the common reason stated by the service providers)

Is there a need for such service?
Well. Seriously NO. This type of paid service is the most common mistake made by webmasters or business owners whom do not have the basic knowledge of how search engine works. Today i will elaborating the OPEN secret of getting your site listed in search engines.

Allow me to clarify that this is not a secret or a hidden technique that i used because it has already been openly repeated in many SEO blogs. However, i believe many business owners or new web entrepreneurs are still unaware of such technique and they are paying hundreds of dollars every year to remain listed in the "so called" search engines.

Understanding the Search Engines and its Users
Search engine is a platform and its users are your potential customers. By listing your websites in search engines, you are actually ultilizing the platform to reach out to the users. However to generate higher sales leads, you need to fulfil two major conditions.

1) Your website listing(s) must appear within the Top 20 results for the searched term(s).

2) Your website / business must be relevant to the searchers.

WHY?
Let's imagine you are residing at United States and today you decide to search for the term "Rented Apartments" via Lycos. The top few results displayed contained a website A that says : Cheap Rented Apartments and Rooms. You visited the website and noticed that its apartments and rooms are actually located in Singapore? What would be your next action? Naturally, you will leave the website A and embark on the next few results. This is why relevancy is very important in sales conversion. Noticed i used Lycos search engine as an example, this is because lycos is one of the top 25 internet destinations in United States.

WHY IS Search Engine Submission Service USELESS?
Why are you submitting to thousands of search engines when you are unable to reach out to them? Instead of wasting your money on this redundant service, you might as well spend some time to determine the major search engine used by your target audiences. How? Now ask yourself these 2 questions : Who are my target audiences? And where are they located? Next, spend some quality time to analyze the geographical locations of your audiences and determine the major search engines used. For example, Google and Yahoo is the two major search engines used in Singapore.

With that in mind, you will only need to get listed in the major search engines and optimize your site for good rankings. Don't lose your focus by getting listed in thousands of search engines, you can gain higher ROI by focusing on the major ones.

How To Get Listed in Major Search Engines For FREE
Now let's get down to the OPEN Secret! This technique is as easy as ABC. Simply find a website which is frequently crawled by the major search engines and get a link back to your website. It is that easy and your site will be crawled by the search engine robots in a matter of days (Depending on the crawl rate of the website which you placed your link) So now the question is where to find the type of website stated? Okay it is right in front of your eyes! Just leave a valuable comment on my recent posts and you are DONE! Hey this post and technique only applies to new web domains and is meant for those who are unsure about Paid Search Engine Submissions.

True enough. The idea is to get robots to crawl your site and it can now be easily done.

So basically, if you search enough websites that are frequently crawled by the major search engines (google, lycos, yahoo etc . . .) then you should never need to pay for SES?
